'I WISH' SCHOLARSHIP
The “I Wish” Scholarship program is one of the key initiatives of the Children’s Cancer Network. Launched in 2021, it is designed for junior high and high school students who were children with cancer themselves, or whose parents are cancer patients (currently undergoing treatment or who have passed away due to cancer).
The “I Wish” Scholarship program aims to support these students, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their studies and future lives.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION 2024
Eligibility for Scholarship
Students at the junior high and high school levels whose parents have cancer and are undergoing treatment at Oncology department at hospitals nationwide.
Scholarship Value
Cash: 5,000,000 VND per student per year.
Number of Scholarships
15 scholarships will be awarded to 15 eligible students.
Timeline
- Application Period: October 1, 2024 to November 30, 2024
- Scholarship Award Period: December 15, 2024 to December 31, 2024
Eligibility Criteria
1. For First-time Applicants:
To be eligible to apply for the “I Wish” Scholarship, you need to prepare:
- Self-introduction resume (template attached).
- Scholarship application letter from the student, clearly stating your aspirations and why you wish to receive this scholarship. (Application letter must be no less than 300 words.).
- Recommendation letter from your homeroom teacher. (Recommendation letter must be no less than 300 words. It should include the homeroom teacher’s contact information: full name, workplace, and phone number).
- Academic transcript with an accumulated GPA of 7.0 or higher for the 2023 academic year (on a 10-point scale), confirmed by the school.
- Copies of other academic achievements from previous academic years (if any).
- Hospital confirmation letter (stamped) regarding the cancer diagnosis of the parent currently undergoing treatment there.
- Copy of household registration book or local confirmation of family members.
- Notarized copy of poverty/near-poverty household book or certificate of difficult circumstances from the local authority (if any).
2. For Applicants who received the “I Wish” Scholarship in 2023:
You need to prepare the following additional documents:
- Academic transcript with an accumulated GPA of 7.0 or higher for the 2023 academic year (on a 10-point scale) and confirmed by the school.
- Copies of academic achievements and awards from previous academic years (if any).
